It requires intentional listening, thoughtful questioning, goal setting, and building supportive relationships. In this interactive workshop, participants will explore practical mentoring strategies learned through a mentoring micro-credential experience and faculty mentoring practice. Attendees will learn skills and competencies that support student belonging, engagement, self-awareness, and independence while identifying actionable approaches that can be applied in advising, teaching, and student support settings.
