About this event
Effective mentoring involves more than providing answers. It requires intentional listening, thoughtful questioning, goal setting, and building supportive relationships. In this interactive workshop, participants will explore practical mentoring strategies learned through a mentoring micro-credential experience and faculty mentoring practice. Attendees will learn skills and competencies that support student belonging, engagement, self-awareness, and independence while identifying actionable approaches that can be applied in advising, teaching, and student support settings.
Presenters: Amee Mehta and Dr. Stephen Summers
