About this event
College students face unprecedented levels of academic pressure, which directly erodes their academic self-efficacy-their belief in their own ability to succeed. When self-efficacy drops, retention and performance suffer. What if the tool to combat this didn't require a massive budget, but rather a shift in how we manage focus and stress in the classroom? This interactive session explores a novel, conceptual framework: using Qigong (ancient Chinese mind-body movement) to boost cognitive flexibility, memory, and emotional regulation. We will break down the science of self-efficacy, look at preliminary cognitive data, and experience a brief, classroom-friendly practice together. Come explore how we might innovate our student support strategies from the inside out.
