Event details Date: Friday, July 17, 2026 Time: 2:00 PM Type: Student Life About this event Rooted in Texas: Researching Family and Community Histories - From Stories to Scholarship The Teaching, Research, Athletics, and Community Engagement (TRACE) Lab for Global Citizenship presents the Next Generation Scholars Academy: a two-week college-readiness experience that guides middle school students (Grades 6–8) through the foundations of research using social studies inquiry while providing premium access to Texas A&M University as they develop into scholars, researchers, and civic leaders. This is not a camp but instead a selective academy where students learn how to research, analyze and present as young scholars.
