About this event
We will discuss Noah’s recent book on Japan, which has three parts: "I Want the Japanese Future Back," "FDI Is the Missing Piece," and "Why Everyone Loves Japan." This will be a tour de force to assess the contradictions of Japan today, from economics to soft power, the allure of Japan’s big cities, and why stagnation is an opportunity at this moment.
This Japan Zoominar @ UC San Diego is organized by the Japan Forum for Innovation and Technology at the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS). For more information on activities, as well as recordings of previous Japan Zoominars, please visit jfit.ucsd.edu.
